Staying healthy is a very important aspect in everyone’s life. Many people are affected by illnesses and diseases and make big sacrifices as they cannot afford to access quality medical services on time. Children are mostly affected as they are more vulnerable and prone to sickness and diseases as they are still growing. Health insurance not only protects one from the high and unexpected costs of medical services but also provides financial protection in cases of serious accident or illness. More than 1500 children from orphanage centers and poor households have already benefited from receiving health insurance cards through this project.
